Izmojuki Industrial Divinities is a tantalizing photo/art book that covers the mecha design of Junji Okubo. His approach is a unique one due to his heavy focus on realism. As such, Capcom hired him to helm the design work for their Steel Battalion games on the Xbox (of which most of these designs are featured within the book, including several rough drafts). However, his personal portfolio is probably the most striking simply due to its placement in real world locales, making the designs seem almost palpable. Okubo is clearly a mecha designer to watch out for in coming years. Includes specs, designs, and photos of industrial robots from various corporations, as well as more speculative designs for the future. All text is in Japanese. 96 pages.
