Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) is widely considered to have been one of the most brilliant minds in history, with an impressive resume in the arts, literature, the sciences, engineering, and many other pursuits. This is a pre-painted kit of his design for a catapult--although the catapult would be largely replaced by the cannon during Leonardo's lifetime, he did many drawings of this ancient siege weapon over his career. And yes, this catapult really works! Assembly required.
