Along with Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu is recognized as one of the three great national unifiers during Japan's Sengoku Jidai (Warring States Period). Ieyasu is credited with finally uniting the nation, becoming Japan's first Shogun and establishing the Shogunate system that would endure more or less peacefully for 268 years.

Doyusha's kit of Tokugawa Ieyasu's elaborate helmet features gold-color plated parts, cloth braids, and a stand with cloth to display it on. Also includes a nice name plate and leather-like printed material for the decorative patterns.
