This is a fine 1/700-scale model of the lead ship of the Spruance class of destroyers. The DD-963 Spruance was comissioned in 1975 and decommissioned in 2005, a service life of 30 years.
Dragon's kit of the Spruance can be built waterline or full-hull, and includes a nice stand for the full-hull version. Photo-etched metal detail parts are provided for the railings, masts, radars, and more. Blue Angels not included!
