1/700 Russian Navy Pyotr Velikiy Premium Edition

The Russian Navy's Kirov-class ships are the largest cruisers in the world. Only four ships in this class were completed. Initially intended as anti-submarine hunters, the Kirov-class cruisers were modified to be able to successfully engage enemy surface ships and to provide air support and anti-submarine protection to naval forces. The last of these cruisers to be laid down, the Pyotr Velikiy, was launched in 1989 (but not commissioned until 1998).

Dragon's kit reproduces this nuclear-and-steam-turbine-powered ship in beautiful 1/700 scale, with crisp detail all over. Sharp decals by Cartograf allow you to mark it as one of three sister ships: Frunze, Admiral Nakhimov, and Pyotr Velikiy. This is the improved "Premium Edition" release of the Pyotr Velikiy, featuring photo-etched metal detail parts.
