1/35 Aufklarungspanzer 38(t) mit 2cm Kw.K.38

The latest in Dragon's "Smart Kit" series is the Aufklarungspanzer 38(t) fitted with the 2cm Kw.K 38 gun in an open-topped turret. Based on the well-used Czechoslovakian 38(t) chassis, this light reconnaissance tank entered German service in 1944.

Here's a new-generation kit from Dragon, another of their "Smart Kit" series of high-detail, low-hassle kits featuring clever engineering and employing the latest in slide-mold technology to achieve the highest level of detail with the lowest number of parts. The philosophy here is "work smarter, not harder," catering to the OOTB modeler who wants a high fidelity of detail and accuracy without having to make a ton of modifications along the way. The kit still includes plenty of parts, to be sure, but the clever engineering means modelers will face fewer hurdles getting them all together. The easy-to-assemble individual link Magic Tracks are already cleaned up and are ready to be assembled, and feature accurate casting number detail on each link. Two frets of photo-etched detail parts are included, as are pre-folded photo-etched anti-grenade screeens for the turret. Also includes interior parts, a big plus since this is an open-topped vehicle. Decal options for two vehicles. An excellent kit of an interesting vehicle, which may be the first entry of a 38(t) series from Dragon! (Maybe!)
