Code: DRA6289 Series: 39-45 Series![]() |
With the first prototype delivered to the German Army in 1933, the Panzer I was Hitler's first armored step towards building his massive war machine prior to the outbreak of WWII. Essentially rendered obsolete by the time of war's outbreak, the Panzer I nevertheless soldiered on until the end of the war in various types and configurations. This kit depicts an early production vehicle.
Dragon's new kit of the diminutive Panzer 1 Ausf. A is second of its new "Smart Kit" series, designed to give modelers the best detail with the least hassle. It includes some parts from its recent 2cm Flak 38 Flakpanzer I release, plus many more new parts to create this version. Although very tiny, the excellent weld seams, countersunk bolt heads, and other fine details and features make this kit a great value for the price. Includes a nice fret of photo-etched parts and Dragon's ready-to-assemble "Magic Track" indy link tracks. Markings provided for three vehicles.
