1/35 Sd.Kfz.251/6C Command Vehicle

One of the key factors of the Blitzkrieg which assured victory for German Army was its sophisticated radio communications system. The Sd.Kfz.251/6 is a command vehicle for radio communication between the HQ of a Panzer Divison and the higher command. It is equipped with high-power radio equipment, plus a large frame and mast antenna for long range communication. The kit is a variation of the popular Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.C (DRA6187). Most of the vehicle's body and automotive parts are identical to that kit, but it has been given several highly-detailed radio sets in the rear compartment. Torn.E.b. Receiver (parts G1) and 100 W.S. Transmitter (G5) are made up of the basic set Fu.G11. The 15.W.S.Eb transmitter (G17) is substituted for the optional Fu.G19 Set. Mw.E.c receiver (G16) and the unrecognized transmitter(G15) make up the Fu.G12 set. Not just these radio sets, but also the power supply unit often neglected in other models has been reproduced. The 9m mast antenna is optional, and can be installed extended or housed. The star-shaped reflector on top of the vehicle is included as brass photo-etched parts. The included driver figure is molded in injection plastic; the two radio operators are molded in PVC. Six sets of decals for Panzer Divisions are included.
