1/35 Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger Porsche Turret

The German King Tiger tank is the most popular tank -- even among civilians. Its long 88mm cannon, thick slanted armor and super-wide-tread tracks create a great impression of a powerful fighting tank, though it really was no more than an under-powered mobile pillbox! Dragon chose the first model of the King Tiger, which is well known as the "Porsche Tiger", with its characteristic turret design. The rounded face of the turret was molded with excellence in this kit; the designer and mold workers did a good job. The kit also contains the gun breech, recoil/recuperator cylinders and safety guards, all visible through the open hatches. The tracks are the separated-link type made of injection plastic. Two types of gun barrels are included to install as you prefer. A brass photo-etched set for the large engine grilles is also included, as well as two set of decals, one for the Normandy front and the other for the Hungary front.
