1/35 Sherman VC Firefly

The Firefly is the result of the successful marriage of US Sherman tank and the powerful British 17 pdr. Gun. This is the only British tank which was capable of destroying the heavy German Tiger and Panther tanks, from the target's frontal arc. This kit is Dragon's third attempt at modeling this famous WWII British hard-puncher -- and this time, they were highly successful! Hull, turret and bogies are all newly-tooled. Some detail parts are taken from their older Firefly and M26 Pershing. The most welcomed feature for British tank fans is the correction of the hull length. The moldings are excellent. The tracks are the individual track link type made of injection plastic. Two very nice figures wearing winter uniforms, one each of British tank crew and infantry, are also included.
