The "Karl" is one of the German 60cm mortars developed to destroy heavily fortified bunkers or fortresses. Dragon has created the first-ever 1/35 injection plastic kit of this machine. The massive mortar housing has a 1.7cm muzzle bore diameter (in 1/35 scale) on a 30cm-long tracked chassis. Parts are molded in gray plastic and have reasonably good details such as a workable ammo bed and rammer. The mortar barrel can be recoiled after assembly with the included spring gimmick. The very long and wide tracks are individually molded of injection plastic. Decals are included for "Karl" and "Ziu," two of the six produced machines. No figures are included.
