The Battle of Kursk was the gigantic clash between two armored colossi in 1943. It was a decisive battle and result in the initial decline of the Third Reich. The German LAH division was the one of the Hitler's elite SS fighting units and spearheaded the assault from the south. This kit consists of the four figures belonging to the light machinegun team. They were firing from the standing posture often used in the field with bushes. All are wearing the distinctive SS M40 Camouflage Smock; molds are fine as usual. Each figure is given the basic infantry equipment and extra firearms are provided, too. A nice set for building dioramas of the famous Kursk battles.
