A semi-speculative kit of the monster E-100 super-heavy tank, an armored vehicle that never got past the prototype stage (only the chassis, running gear, and hull were completed). This 100-ton behemoth was supposedly going to use the same turret as the even more massive Maus, but no turret was ever installed before the end of the war.
Dragon's E-100 features sharp molding and nice detail throughout. Tracks are link-and-length injection-molded plastic. Contains photo-etched detail parts. This is a re-release of Dragon's older (but great!) E-100 kit, with the addition of infra-red night fighting equipment (molded in clear plastic) and a detail of four support troops, with their own interesting night-fighting equipment, a "fliegerfaust" portable multiple rocket launcher, and a vorsatz "P" curved-barrel gun for shooting around corners. It's nice to see this veteran kit back on the market, even more so with the addition of these new and interesting features!
