1/48 Focke-Wulf Ta152C-0

A new kit of the TA152C-0 by Dragon in 1/48 scale. Based on their (former Trimaster) Ta152H kit, Dragon has tooled new cowl, wing and propeller parts. While this means some modification of the kit fuselage halves are needed to fit the new cowl parts, it also means that one could easily build a JuMo-engined short-wing Ta152E quite easily! While the Ta152H was designed for high-altitude air defense, the C model was designed as a low-altitude fighter and ground attack aircraft. With 4 20mm cannon it would have been a formidable adversary, however only a very few prototypes were completed or underway when the war ended, so the type never entered widespread service.
