1/144 F-14D Tomcat VF-31 (2pcs)

Dragon salutes the illustrious history of the F-14 Tomcat with the release of two VF-31 "Tomcatters" aircraft in 1/144 scale. The beautifully illustrated box includes two complete F-14D Super Tomcat kits with markings for two VF-31 aircraft as they appeared on their final cruise aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt in the Mediterranean Sea in 2006. These aircraft are significant in that from October 2006 the F-14 will be phased out, gradually replaced by the capable F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. The kit features fine engraved panel lines, seated pilot figures, GBU-16 Paveway II bombs, an LAU-138 launcher for the AIM-9 missiles, and an AN/AAQ-14 targeting pod. The characteristic swing wings are moveable. A nice set of Tomcats to help you celebrate the old feline's upcoming retirement!
