Tamiya's nicely detailed kit originally released in the 1980s, now reissued with decals for Atlantis, Discovery, Endeavour, Enterprise, and Columbia (only Challenger is not included). This is the orbiter only -- the kit does not include the external fuel tank, solid rocket boosters, or launch pad, but it does come with a display stand. Includes parts for an ESA space laboratory in the cargo bay. The cargo bay doors can be positioned open or closed, and feature chromed inner doors to replicate the highly reflective heat-resistant surfaces they have. Rudder and main engine nozzles move after assembly. Measures 37.25cm long with a wingspan of 23.8cm. Includes two astronaut figures.
