1/35 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.E Tauchpanzer w/Betriebsstoffanhanger

An interesting underwater version of the German Panzer IV tank, initially designed for "Operation Sealion," the abandoned invasion of Britain. Standard Panzer IV Ausf. E tanks were made watertight with various waterproof fabric and rubber fittings, plus a system of one-way valves for engine air intake and exhaust. They were used to some extent in the invasion of Russia.

Dragon's Cyber Hobby release of the Panzer IV Ausf. E Tauchpanzer includes the auxiliary fuel trailer and all the special fittings necessary to build the Tauchpanzer version of the Panzer IV. Photo-etched detail parts are included, and the tracks are provided as Dragon's easy-to-assemble "Magic Tracks," indy links that are already cleaned up and ready to assemble. Decals by Cartograf are provided for two vehicles. Can be built as a ready-to-submerge tank or a land-going version. Some of the sealing parts are molded in a soft material.
