If you were a monster-crazed kid growing up in the '70s (like me!), then Forest J Ackerman needs no introduction. The "Ackermonster" raised a generation or two of monster and sci-fi fans through his iconic publication "Famous Monsters of Filmland," and even coined the term "sci-fi"! Sadly, Forry passed away late in 2008, but he left a legacy of love for monsters, sci-fi, and the fandom that will live on forever.
Part of that wonderful legacy is gathered here in this fantastic collection of photos and stories about Forry's amazing collection of horror and sci-fi memorabilia, housed in the Ackermansion! Written by Japanese author Hajime Ishida, all text is in Japanese, but the hundreds of color and b&w photos alone are worth the price of admission! Softcover with dust jacket.
