1/35 V-1 Fieseler FI 103 Re-3 Flying Bomb (Trainer)

Reissue of the Bronco Models 1/35 V-1 kit with new parts to build the Fi103 RE-3 trainer for the RE-4 piloted version of the V-1 flying bomb. The RE-4 was an attempt to improve the accuracy of the basic V-1 by fitting rudimentary flight controls and a seat for a pilot, who would then in theory bail out after aiming the bomb and locking the controls. Obviously some training in flying a pulse-jet-powered marginally controllable aircraft was required, which is where the subject of this release came in. Fortunately for all concerned, piloted V-1s never entered operational service. See box art for marking details.
