1/35 Piper Cub L-4 "Grasshopper"

A very nice new-tool of the L-4 "Grasshopper." Even in 1/35, this kit is almost surprisingly small, about the size of a 1/48 P-51. Photo-etched detail parts are included to add to the impressive amount of detail provided by the injection parts. The L-4 saw long service in both WW2 and Korea as a spotter and liaison aircraft, so perhaps the most surprising thing about this kit is that it took this long for someone to kit it in 1/35! Markings are included for four aircraft: one from Operation Torch with yellow-surround national insignia, one from Italy in 1943, a D-Day striped aircraft of V Corps Field Artillery over Normandy, and a silver aircraft of the 91st BG in 1945.
