This is the military version of the VW Beetle designed by Doctor Porsche. With the help of its torsion bar suspension and LSD mechanism, it could negotiate the rough terrain better than 4WD cars, especially on slippery surfaces. Bego's Kubelwagen was originally released in the early 1990's. At that time, its molding was far superior to that of other AFV kits; the parts were thin and fine. Fifteen years have passed since then, and the kit's excellence has not waned. This time around, additional parts have been included, for the extended canvas top and the transparent side window screens. Two sitting figures in late-war uniform are included. Engine detail can be partially seen in the engine compartment. Five sets of decals for the German Army are included as well.
