Its parts are identical to the Bandai's April 2008 Guren Type-02 (Ni-Shiki) snap-fit kit, but this new "royal coating" version is even more eye-grabbing, with some parts molded in a beautiful red and silver coating and the rest in glossy finish! The cockpit comes molded in clear orange plastic. Sharply molded and fully articulated with polycap joints upon completion, Gurren Type-02 has a massive right hand that's extendable and has ball-jointed fingers, while the cover on the right side of its chest is removable to connect the included bendable wire with a Slash Harken. The kit also features a detailed cockpit that can hold a riding figure of Kallen (molded in white) and working Land Spinners. A standing Kallen figure (molded in white) is included along with a display stand to assist Guren Type-02 with dynamic poses.
