Just like the original toy, the variable Valkyrie sports Roy Focker's signature color scheme, and the mecha can be transformed between its Fighter, Gerwalk, and Battroid modes. Presented in a newly designed package, the Valkyrie's sharp mold and sturdy construction of die-cast and ABS plastic remain the same as the classic toy, and its gunpod is included. Released in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the landmark 1982-83 "Macross" TV anime series, this is not only a welcome release for longtime fans of the show, but also serves as a great introduction for newcomers to Takatoku Toys' historic Valkyrie that set the standards for transforming toys in the '80s.
