A quarter-century after its 1983 release by Takatoku Toys, the legendary VF-1S toy now gets reborn in Bandai's Origin of Valkyrie line! Just like the original toy, the variable Valkyrie sports Roy Focker's signature color scheme, and the mecha can be transformed between its Fighter, Gerwalk, and Battroid modes. Presented in a newly designed package, the Valkyrie's sharp mold and sturdy construction of die-cast and ABS plastic remain the same as the classic toy, and its gunpod is included. Released in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the landmark 1982-83 "Macross" TV anime series, this is not only a welcome release for longtime fans of the show, but also serves as a great introduction for newcomers to Takatoku Toys' historic Valkyrie that set the standards for transforming toys in the '80s.
