Commemorating the 25th anniversary of the landmark 1982-83 "Macross" TV anime series, the classic transformable VF-1J toy first produced by now-defunct Takatoku Toys has been reborn in Bandai's Origin of Valkyrie line! A great addition to longtime Macross fans' collections, this will also be a great introduction for newcomers to the historic Valkyrie toy that set the standard for transforming toys in the 1980s. Just like the original toy, the variable Valkyrie sports Hikaru Ichijo's signature color scheme, and the mecha can transform between Fighter, Gerwalk, and Battroid modes. The Valkyrie's sharp mold and sturdy construction of die-cast and ABS plastic remain the same as the classic toy. Presented in a newly designed package, not only does it come with its standard gunpod, but it also comes with a canopy cover part that was not included in Bandai's limited 2002 release!
