The much-loved Gunbuster from "Aim for the Top! / Gunbuster" anime series has finally made it into the popular Soul of Chogokin series and it definitely is not one to disappoint! Through the use of brilliant toy engineering from the SOC team, one of the largest mecha in anime history is stunningly realized in diecast metal and ABS plastic form with amazing accuracy to its anime counterpart. Gunbuster comes in the form of two ships, Buster Machine #1 & #2, which are fully transformable and form a 30cm tall (to the tip of its shoulders) when combined. If it were in scale with the rest of the SOC super robots, I doubt anyone would have the space to display it, let alone being able to afford such a behemoth mecha! Gunbuster's gimmicks and accessories include built-in weapons hidden in the shoulders, Buster Missile hands, Buster Missile Might, Buster Shield (made of fabric), Buster Tomahawk, Buster Home Run, and the dreaded Buster Collider! Gunbuster's chest is removable and comes with a generator part for you to reenact the climatic scene in the final episode of the OVA. A tiny in-scale Machine Weapon RX-7 is included along with a docking bay display base that can be used to dock Gunbuster in either robot mode or Buster Machine mode on it, as well as using it to hold Gunbuster in "Super Inazuma Kick" pose.
