Berserk Garo & Damaged Zaruba

The moment I saw Garo going berserk and turning into this giant golden beast in the "Golden Knight GARO" TV show, I knew Bandai was going to make a figure of it at some point, and that it would be expensive for something of its size. But lucky us! Bandai decided to retail this giant beast at a mere 6,000 yen! That's definitely a big bang for the buck in my book! Berserk Garo is yet another amazing masterpiece addition, sculpted by the superbly talented Takayuki Takeya, to the popular GARO Equip & Prop series. Measuring at 33 cm tall, it towers over all previous releases in this series and weighs nearly 3 kg!

Berserk Garo is amazingly well-articulated, even individual fingers are ball-jointed. Its tail comes with 2 optional tail-end parts that allows you to shorten or lengthen it. Unfortunately, the entire figure does not contain any diecast parts, its all made of plastic. Included in this set is a 1/1 scale prop replica Zaruba ring damaged version as seen in the final episode of the show. The ring is the only item made out of diecast metal and Zaruba's base is not included but can be used on the base that comes with Vol 1 of this GARO Equip & Prop series. An interchangeable Kouga head is also included, featuring Kouga being engulfed by darkness. Although Kouga's body is not included in this set for the spare Kouga head to be attached to the body, the head can be attached on Kouga's body that comes with Vol 2 of this series.
