1/72 Mitsubishi G3M1 (Nell)

This kit dates from the mid-60s, and while not as crisp or detailed as newer offerings, it still holds up resonably well. Panel lines and rivets are recessed, the engine fronts crisp and realistic looking. The cockpit is fairly bare, featuring 3 basic seat shapes, control yokes and a main panel with raised disks for instruments. Three crew figures are included. Alternate engine nacelles, spinners and antennas are included to model either a Model 11 or Model 21. Decals are included for 2 Model 11s, a silver aircraft with a red tail and a camouflaged aircraft based in China, as well as a camouflaged Model 21. Armament is included in the form of 8 small bombs and 1 torpedo.
