1/48 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I

A "new reissue" (new-tool parts mixed with older parts) from Airfix to allow us to build, for the first time ever out-of-box, a Spitfire Mk. I with original canopy and two-blade Watts prop. Lots of optional parts, including blown and unblown canopies, armored and unarmored windscreens, PR and "normal" rear fixed canopy sections, plus three props (two-bladed Watts, three-bladed Rotol and De Havilland) and Coffman starter bulge allow you to build pretty much any Mk. I or Mk. II. Decals are provided for the pictured K9795, a Mk. I, and P8088, a Mk. IIa.
