For years now a modeler's only option if they wanted to build a model of Blue Thunder was the long out-of-production Monogram kit or a cheap Chinese copy. Well, no longer! Aoshima has entered the fray with an all-new tooling in 1/48 scale of the most famous (highly-modified) Gazelle helicopter to grace the silver screen. This model looks outstanding as it features full interior detail and a very well-done pilot figure. Includes a very cool articulated display stand. No sign of JAFO yet, though!!

This limited release includes a metal part for the gatling gun.
