This item is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.
Marder IID SPG was a hybrid of a captured Russian 76.2mm gun on a German Pz.II D hull. The urgent requirement for mobile anti-tank weapons on the Russian Front gave birth to this vehicle. Alan, of St. Petersburg, Russia produced this eccentric tank. The moldings are fair. Although Alan kits are "short run", they definitely qualify as being at the top end of "short run" kits, or even the lower end of "mainstream" producers' kits. While not of "Big T" quality perhaps, with a little care a very attractive miniature can be made from this kit. Tracks are individual-link construction, a big advance over the "rubber band" treads seen in some "major" producers' kits. Brass PE mesh for exhaust muffler cover is included. No figure included.
