1/500 USN CVE-73 Gambier Bay

This is a phenomenal resin and photo-etched metal multi-media kit of the US Navy escort carrier Gambier Bay. The flawless, super-clean resin castings of this kit have to be seen to be believed! The sharpness of detail is outstanding, right down to the tiny propeller blades of the aircraft. Speaking of which, the air wing includes 18 Wildcats and 12 Avengers, also flawlessly cast in resin. The hull and flight deck are both cast as separate single pieces, with fine detail. In 1/500 scale, the Gambier Bay measures about 31cm long.
