OK, OK, we know what some of you are thinking - "9500 yen for a 1/72 Sea Fury?!?" Yes, there are other kits of this plane in this scale for far less. Some of them aren't bad at all. But none of them have the level of detail of this kit! You get full cockpit detail, included molded-in sidewall detail on the fuselage halves, correctly detailed wheel bays and landing gear, full firewall and engine detail (with removable cowl panels), flaps that can be built lowered with full flap well detail, underwing drop tank and rocket armament, cannon and ammo bays that can be modeled open - with full interior detail, optional open and closed canopies and markings for a Korean War Royal Navy bird as well as an Iraqi Air Force plane. This model really must be seen to be believed - there simply is no finer model of the Sea Fury available in this scale. Expensive? Yes, but you sure get your money's worth!
