A beautiful little metal and photo-etch kit of Santos-Dumont's Dirigible number 6 lets you build and display this sharp air vehicle in "flight". Simply remove the photo-etched parts from the included fret, attach them to the metal dirigible body, attach this to the support rod and the support rod to the base. The fret includes a finely-etched Arc de Triomphe, and is marked with various Parisian streets; this decorates the included "black box" base with flair. The finished dirigible measures 33 mm long; the rod's total length is 25 cm long; and the black box is about 6.6 x 6.6 cm. You will need a pair of very fine tweezers to complete this kit. A motor in the black box base runs on a single AA battery, to rotate the display gently. A really nice tribute!
