This is a stuffed animal, plush figure or other plush toy.

Here's a slightly different Gloomy Bear than we're used to seeing: he has no visible claws, and he's gazing downward with quite a different expression... (u h-oh!) Embroidered-and-appliqued "blood" is splashed on his mouth and chest, and his cute pink tongue is sticking out in a "slurp!" Gloomy is a game-prize item from Taito; he's a 26cm-tall cuddly plush when standing (he can stand up if you help).  It should be noted that Gloomy's eyes are embroidered on; they're not inset plastic, as shown in the prototype photos, and they also have embroidered heavy black outlines and eyelashes.  There are two other equally lovable versions of Gloomy available, too--they're linked below!
