Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The apex of Sherman evolution in WWII, as carried on into the Korean War. The M4A3E8 Sherman medium tank featured the larger T23 turret with 76mm gun, plus an improved horizontal volute spring suspension (HVSS) with wider tracks for improved driving performance and stability.
Tasca's kit of the Korean War version of the "Easy Eight" Sherman features a working suspension, new and unique hybrid flexible belt/plastic part multi-piece T80 tracks, and great detail all around, such as post-WWII large rear deflector, external telephone box and first aid kit, choice of normal or large engine deck hinges, and a canvas mantlet cover. Also includes photo-etched metal detail parts and markings for two vehicles. Figure not included.
