That's right, folks, all the plastic parts of these models are exactly the same as those of the AMT/ERTL releases, but now feature completely new packaging, and, more importantly for Star Trek modelers, brand new and very accurate decals by Cartograf.
All of the AMT/ERTL Enterprise kits have been very hard to come by, not having been re-released for many years. The Enterprise NCC-1701-B from the film "Generations" has been particularly difficult to find. This kit of the Excelsior-class Enterprise measures 18 inches long when completed. This series of AMT/ERTL Enterprise kits from Platz was produced for the Japanese market and will only be available for a limited time, so act fast! The Federation is counting on you!
