1/144 JASDF UH-60J(SP) Rescue Wings

A limited release of two 1/144 JASDF Air Rescue UH-60J(SP) kits. The kits are molded in a clear but slightly opaque plastic, and include a nose section with all the bumps molded in for the radars and FLIR turret. The large external fuel tanks and support arms carried by these helicopters are also included, but what is perhaps most impressive is the inclusion of resin parts to upgrade the kits to SP standards, plus a sheet of photo-etched parts to really detail these little models up: pitots, antennas, boarding handles, even the windscreen wipers are there! The UH-60J(SP) features prominently in the new movie "Rescue Wings," and this is a tie-in kit (hence the box art). Decals are for two aircraft, serial numbers 78-4585 and 88-4587.
