An unusually designed battleship with all its main armament up front, the Jean Bart was launched in 1940 but was never actually completed during WWII. After changing hands multiple times during the war, she was finally completed in 1949, and went on to serve in the Suez Canal Crisis. She was put into reserves in 1957, decommissioned in 1961, and scrapped in 1969.

This Pit-Road model is the result of another great collaboration with Trumpeter. A full-hull or waterline model, the kit represents the Jean Bart as she appeared in 1955. Includes a nice dry-dock style stand with nameplate for the full-hull version.
