Able to cruise over land or water at speeds up to 40 knots and carrying up to 60 tons of payload, the Japanese version of the US-built LCAC (Landing Craft, Air Cushioned) greatly expands the capabilities of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
Pit-Road's LCAC kit features fine molding and exquisite detailing throughout, with photo-etched metal parts included to enhance the detail even further. The air cushion is rendered in soft black vinyl. Includes a big sheet of decals and a full-color decal placement and painting guide (all text is in Japanese). A joint project with Trumpeter. An excellent kit of an interesting subject!
