Back again after a long hiatus is Nichimo's highly detailed Aero Subaru. For those who like light airplanes, or like to see how airplanes work, this kit comes highly recommended! The level of detail is absolutely outstanding - the best I've ever seen in an airplane model. The metal landing gear is fully sprung, all control surfaces, including flaps, move, the engine is fully plumbed AND the kit can be motorized with no loss of detail, the landing lights work, the canopy opens, seats fold, control yokes and throttle levers move, the list goes on and on. This kit is almost more of an educational tool than a plastic model!
Note: while the instruction sheet mentions using either injection plastic or rubber tires, Nichimo has not included the rubber tires in this reissue. Please also note that despite the fact that the box and photos indicate that figures are included in the box, there are no figures in the box.
