This is an injection-plastic model kit of a scene or item related to the culture of Japan.

You can still find pagodas like these dotting the landscape, and the delicately arched bridge and sturdy gate are essential examples of Japanese architecture, featured prominently in uncountable Japanese period dramas. Molded in green, white, red, brown, gray, and gold-colored plastic, this 1/250-scale Five Story Pagoda kit comes with its own real grass--a mixture of timothy and clover! Wet the kit's mat, sprinkle it with the provided seeds, keep it moist, and soon you'll have a small patch of grass. It won't last forever, of course, but you may be able to find replacement mats at your local gardening store, and you can start over again.

This is one of the entries in Kawai Shokai's series of kits of Japanese buildings, stores, and locations that allows you to recreate Japanese landscapes--it's just like being here! (If you're about 2 inches tall, anyway.)
