Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.

Hasegawa's Hornet is THE kit of this airplane in 1/48. Highly detailed inside and out, this kit features die-cast metal landing gear, optional position leading edge and trailing edge flaps, ailerons, rudders, elevons and speed brake, a canopy that can be positioned open or closed, an optional boarding ladder and photoetched detail parts. You also have the option of either navigation and targeting pods on the inlet cheek stations, or Sparrow sway braces (Sparrows not included). The distinct dual bomb racks used by F-18s are also included (but no bombs), as well as the ever-present drop tanks needed to keep the Hornet from becoming a submarine. Markings are for four aircraft, one each from VFA-25, VFA-113, VFA-82 and VMFA-232. The Navy aircraft all feature colorful rudders, while the lone Marine Hornet is more subdued with its white devil and pitchfork emblem on the tails.
