Among the Mark II/Chaser/Cresta trio, the Cresta had a special presence.
Especially the second generation (X70 series), which debuted in 1984, adopted a traditional sedan body style in an era dominated by hardtops. The interior was also differentiated, emphasizing a sense of luxury.
Along with its siblings, the sales of the Cresta were excellent. In 1985, it became the first car in Japan to be equipped with a twin-turbo engine, and until 1988, it underwent minor changes focused on the front and rear designs.

In TLV-NEO, the X70 series Cresta was introduced in 2017.
This time, we're unveiling a new specification after a long hiatus.
The N156c replicates the early model specifications from the often featured special specification "Exceed".
The Exceed is based on the Super Lucent Twin Cam 24 and comes with exclusive equipment such as beige moldings.
As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the X70 series, it's a nostalgic reminder of the 1980s when Japan was filled with dreams of high-performance cars.
