Among the trio of Mark II, Chaser, and Cresta, the Cresta stood out with its special presence.
Especially the second generation (X70 series) introduced in 1984 deliberately adopted a traditional sedan body style during the era dominated by hardtops, emphasizing luxury with differentiated interiors.
Along with its siblings, it enjoyed strong sales, with the first-ever twin-turbo engine in Japan being introduced in 1985, and a minor change centered on front and rear designs in 1986, continuing until 1988.

The X70 series Cresta was introduced in the TLV-NEO series in 2017.
This time, a new specification is making a comeback after a while.
The N137c represents the late model, featuring the new color of the top-of-the-line model, the Super Lucent Twin Cam 24.
