Description
This is a resin-cast aircraft kit.
This 3D printed model reproduces the KF-21 Borame (Polame), the next-generation stealth general-purpose fighter aircraft under development by South Korea.
Following the single-seat [TF-A01] 1/144 current use Korean Air Force KF-21 Borame prototype No. 3, which became Trifactory's first full kit of a 1/144 aircraft, comes a double-seat model that is currently undergoing test flights.
The KF-21 Boramae is a 4.5-generation fighter that was announced in 2001 as the next mainstay KF-X fighter of the Korean Air Force for development in its own country. Aiming for low operating costs while providing stealth and multi-role capability, three single-seat models had been undergoing flight tests since July 2022, but on February 20, 2023 On February 20, 2023, the fourth prototype of the double-seat type, a rare form of stealth fighter, made its first flight.
As with the single-seat KF-21, Tori Factory made full use of 3D printing technology to reproduce its characteristic form, while reducing the number of parts as much as possible for assembly.
Two seated pilot figures are also included to match the double-seated cockpit.
The landing gear is selectable between flight and landing states.
The Mitya and IRIS-T air-to-air missiles, JDAM bombs, and fuel tanks are included as armament accessories, and high-quality Cartograf decals are included, as well as pre-cut masking sheets for painting the canopy and other parts.
