Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Academy's PBY-5A features recessed panel lines and rivets, interior detail, optional parts for early or late versions (optional nose turrets, exhausts and radar antennas), optional position wing-tip floats and rubber tires. Bristling with gun turrets, 4 1000 lb. Bombs and painted in overall black, it looks very much the part of the nighttime hunter that wreaked such havoc across the Pacific in WWII.
