Description
This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
A joint project with Trumpeter, this is Pit-Road's 1/700 kit of CVN-68 Nimitz, representing her in 2005. You have a choice to build this kit either as full hull or as waterline. Multiple pieces each of F/A-18C, F/A-18E, F/A-18F, EA-6B, E-2C, MH-60S, and SH-60F in clear plastic are included. Photo-etched parts for small antennas are also included.The inner lid is made of blue plastic with ocean surface detail on it, and can be used as a display stand if you build this kit as waterline.
This release features a clear flight deck in place of the normal gray one.
