Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Trumpeter follows up their 1/72 Sea Fury with this 1/48 kit, a worthy replacement for the venerable Hobbycraft kit. Features an acceptably detailed cockpit (needing only seatbelts), detailed landing gear, wings that can be assembled folded or extended, clear lenses for the lights, drop tanks, and aerial rockets. Decals are for Royal Navy aircraft VX691 T/103 off the HMS Theseus during the Korean War and VW238 Q/107. If you happen to have a spare 1/48 Centaurus engine in your parts box, you will be pleased to note that Trumpeter has molded the access panels as separate pieces that can be assembled in the open position (but no engine is included with the kit).
