This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
Here's an excellent full-hull kit of the IJN escort ship Ukuru Type-A. Includes a display stand with nameplate (choice of English or Japanese).
(Although the initial release of this kit in 2009 included a set of 20 injection-molded and prepainted IJN sailors in summer uniforms--shown on the box art in the image here--later reissues of the kit do not include the figures.)
