Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The M5A1 Stuart light tank was an improvement over the M3 Stuarts, with better power and speed provided by two Cadillac engines. Other improvements included a new, all-welded chassis, and a larger turret with rear bustle for the M5A1 model. First seeing action in 1943 in north Africa, it also served in Europe and with the Marines in the Pacific Theater. 6,810 M5A1 tanks were produced, the most of any US light tank.
AFV Club's kit of the late type M5A1 features very fine molding and detail. Decals for multiple versions are included.
